MUSE is dedicated to funding programs only.  No funds will be made available for administration.  Capital expenditures, transportation, or general supplies must be tied to the specific program requesting the grant.  A representative to answer questions on this proposal must be present at the MUSE meeting when grant is submitted for approval.

Funds that are unspent at the end of the school year during which they were granted will be returned to MUSE unless there are mitigating circumstances that must be presented to MUSE before the end of the term.  The funds given are for specific programs and are not to be used for purposes other than that specified on the grant application.  MUSE generally does not pay for equipment or supplies unless tied directly to a program that could not function without the necessary supplies. 

Any publicity about the program must include wording that indicates “all or part of this program was made possible with funds from Mendocino Unified Schools Enrichment (MUSE).  Any documentation that can assist publicizing the program is welcome. MUSE is happy to help with notifying the public about funded programs.
