Mendocino Unified School Enrichment

Teacher Grant Application

MUSE is now accepting grant applications from teachers for next school year. During COVID we adjusted our vetting process in order to better accommodate staff requests and other fundraising efforts. We would like to encourage MUSD to approach MUSE with regards to supporting new programs/projects. All requests will be vetted at MUSE's regularly scheduled monthly board meetings (2nd Tuesday of each month).

NOTE: we would like to encourage teachers to present their grant request in person or via zoom at our October or February board meeting to be held in the K8 Library (5 p.m.)

Teachers may submit a grant as a team or individually. Teachers may submit more than one application. Only requests that have been approved by the site administrators will be accepted.

Teacher funded grants will be awarded from $100-$1,000 per teacher per year.

Mission: To bring together the community and its resources in order to save and enhance existing programs and to support new programs in the Mendocino Unified School District.

NOTE: The money that MUSE gives to MUSD is in the form of grants and is a “meet the need” organization; surplus funds from a MUSE sponsored event will be returned to MUSE up to the amount donated.

MUSE is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization formed by parents, teachers and community members concerned with maintaining and enhancing the excellent educational programs that have been the heritage of the Mendocino Unified School District.
